• Only use the appliance indoors on a solid, level work
surface.
• Do not allow the lead to hang over the edge of the work
surface.
• Avoid contact between the lead and hot surfaces.
• Always hold the carafe with one hand whilst blending.
• Always operate the blender with the cover in place.
• When blending hot liquids, remove the centre part of
the two-piece cover. Limit the amount of material
processed to 200ml or 8 fl oz. Always start blending
at the lowest speed setting. Keep hands and other
exposed skin away from the open centre of the cover
to prevent possible injury. For further advice, refer to

– Never place hands or utensils in the
carafe or touch the blades whilst the appliance is
switched on or plugged in.
• Always remove the carafe from the base of the appliance
before emptying the contents.
• Sharp blades. Handle with care.
• Adult supervision is required when the appliance is used
near children and some disabled persons. This appliance
is not suitable for use by children. Store out of the reach
of children.

• Do not leave the blender unattended whilst in operation.
• Always switch off and unplug the appliance from the
mains when not in use, when attaching or removing parts
and when cleaning.
