1. Ensure the base of your object is clear of the vat by moving the print
platform up sufficiently. Remove the hood of the print platform and tilt
the platform backwards to allow excess resin to drip back into the resin vat.
2. Lay down absorbent paper towel where the printed object will be placed. Close
the hood of the printer immediately after removing the object to protect the
remaining resin from light.
3. Remove excess polymer with paper first, then place the print platform in
a wash container. Scrape off the printed object at the base by using the
scraper included in the package. Wash off liquid polymer with alcohol.
4. The object will need post-print exposure to light to achieve full hardness.
Before that, you can gently clean the printed object with a soft brush or sponge.
Or if you have an ultrasonic cleaner, the printed object can be cleaned without
damaging it.
5. Check the printed object is thoroughly cleaned, then place it in an area with
bright sunlight for 10 to 20 minutes inside a container. Alternatively, you can
use a UV lamp to achieve the same post-print UV exposure that hardens the
object. During this process the object will darken in colour with light
exposure and become dry.
6. While waiting for the object to become completely dry, clean the build platform
with industrial alcohol and chip off any cured resin. Dry off the build platform
before inserting it back into the printer.
7. It is recommended to empty the resin vat for cleaning every time you print.
This is to avoid having solidified pieces at the bottom of the resin vat that would
prevent proper calibration and homing. To remove the resin vat, loosen the Z bracket
to take out the resin vat and pour the resin liquid back into the bottle with a strainer.
Place the vat on a flat surface and wipe the bottom of the vat with absorbent paper
towel. Make sure the vat is clean and undamaged before placing it back in the printer.
If the vat is not flat and tight like a drum’s surface, remove the film and replace it with
a new film.
8. If resin leaks on to the screen, allow the resin to harden then chip off the hardened
resin with a blunt, non-serrated knife to avoid damaging the screen.
