Your Linde wood-burning stove in a nutshell
The Linde combines comfort and efficient heat output.
As the stove has many glass parts, heat will be radiated directly to the room, providing as much warmth as possible. The built-in
extractor diverts the flue gases, while the secondary burning chamber reignites the flue gases for a better and cleaner burn.
The built-in air slide lets you control the air supply and the amount of heat the stove generates.
Assembly
Generally speaking, your Linde will be installed by the dealer who sold you the stove. If
this is not the case, please note that the stove must be installed by a qualified installer. The stove must be fitted in accordance with
national and local rules and regulations for the installation and use of wood-burning stoves.
A qualified installer can also advise you on the flue pipe to which the stove is to be connected. Unqualified persons are prohibited
from installing wood-burning stoves. If your stove is not fitted by a qualified installer, we cannot guarantee that the Linde will

Lighting the stove
Lighting the stove in the early autumn or late winter
When there is little difference between the indoor and outdoor temperatures, a good
chimney draught can be quite a challenge. In early autumn or late winter, burning just a
little wood with all the vents open to the maximum will improve the draught.
A larger intake of air contributes to rapid heating, which in turn boosts the chimney draught.
Burning only a little wood also prevents smoke from flowing back into the room.
When lit, the stove gets very hot and needs at least two hours to cool down.
Do not touch the stove without protection when lighting or keeping the fire and for two
hours afterwards. Always operate the fireplace with a glove to avoid severe burns.
Set the air supply to the maximum setting (right). Open the door and stack a few logs
of wood in the stove with a few smaller pieces of wood and firelighters on top (top down
burning method. Light the firelighters and leave the door ajar for a few (5-10) minutes to
draw in fresh air and to get the chimney draft going. Do not put more than two logs in the
stove at once. Make sure there is good ventilation when the fire is burning. If you want to
extinguish the fire, shut off the air supply.
