Cleaning / replacing the spark plug
NOTE!
Remove the spark plug only if dust or dirt can not get into the spark
plug opening.
• Remove the spark plug connector

motion.

• Blow the power generator, especially the area of the spark plug, using
compressed to remove dust and dirt.
• Turn the spark plug counter-clockwise using the spark plug spanner

• Check the condition of the spark plug:
−
If there is a lot of carbon deposit on the contacts, get in touch with a
technician or the manufacturer's service address mentioned on the warranty
card.

If the carbon deposit is not much, then clean the contacts carefully using a
copper wire brush.

If necessary, replace the spark plug with a spark plug of the same type (see
chapter "Maintenance schedule" and "Technical data").

The distance between the electrodes should be 0.6 - 0.7 mm. Adjust them
with a screwdriver if necessary.
• Tighten the spark plug in clockwise direction by hand as far as it goes.
• Carefully tighten the spark plug using the spark plug spanner. Do not apply a
lot of force.
• Insert the spark plug connector on the spark plug.
