Note that another cycle shall not start unless your hands or any other item in the sensor
detection zone/range is removed momentarily.
Time Cycle Adjustments.
To adjust the time cycle settings for water and air dispensing, access must be made into the
cabinet behind the unit upper fascia panel, the security key provided is used to remove the
two screws securing the panel. An internal cover plate is mounted behind the upper front
fascia
panel.
It
is
recommended
that
only
qualified
personnel
carry
out
inspection/adjustments due to the risk of electric
shock if the appropriate precautions are not
taken. Switch OFF the electrical supply at the
fused spur or mains switch board.
To the left of the internal cover plate, switch OFF
the “Electrical Isolator” to ensure the electrical
supply to the unit remains disconnected. Remove
the inner cover plate by releasing the screws
securing it and then ease it out from the unit.
The handwash will be fitted with one of two
electronic controllers, (TCU041 or TCU100) which
is mounted towards the top inside face of the
handwash housing. The TCU041 controller is
used on units with just soap, water and air
functions, push button operated. The time
settings may be adjusted by following the
adjacent instructions. The TCU100 is fitted to the
CME_45s model, time cycles may be adjusted using the onboard ‘Control Interface module’.
For further details contact Wallgate.
After all adjustments are completed ensure that the internal cover plate is correctly replaced
& that the switch Electrical Isolator is in the ON position (Red light illuminated). Close & lock
the door panel.
3. REPLENISHING THE SOAP
(a) Using the castellated keys provided, open the top door and remove the empty soap
container. Place the soap tubing into the new container of soap ensuring it reaches to the
bottom. Position the container into its compartment. The soap recommended for use in
the unit is a free flowing liquid soap. It is particularly important that the unit is not filled with
creams or gel soaps, which will not dispense properly or may even, cause a blockage. A
range of recommended soaps and their specification are available direct from Wallgate or
your supplier.
(b) To prime the soap press the soap push button several times until soap begins to
consistently dispense from the nozzle. Close & lock the hand wash door.
(c) Soap levels should be checked periodically to maintain efficient operation of the unit.
4. ADJUSTING THE WATER TEMPERATURE
(a) Access is required to the inside of the cabinet so the
electrical supply must be
switched OFF
before proceeding any further.
(b) Using the castellated key provided, open the top door & then remove the internal cover &
the soap container. The water flow control tap is located to the left of centre at the back of
the cabinet. To increase the temperature of the water turn the tap clockwise and to
decrease the temperature, turn it anti-clockwise. Make small adjustments and then
activate the unit to check the effect. The unit is fitted with a safety flow switch, which will
only operate the water heater when the flow rate is set above 1.2 litres/minute, (Typical
set rate 1.6ltr/min). Replace the internal cover & soap container & close and lock the door
