Transaxle Lockout Arms
The transaxle lockout arms disengage the transax-
les. By
lifting
the arms up and locking them into
place with the shoulder on the arm in the chassis
notch, the transaxles are released to permit free-
wheeling. By releasing the arms and
recessing
them back toward the chassis, the transaxles are
engaged for normal operation. The transaxle arms
in the
LOCKOUT
position are used to enable
moving the machine without the engine running
(e.g., for service). Refer to
Transaxle Lockout on
page 36
for operating instructions.

NOTE:
The transaxle lockout arms ends should
be completely retracted against the chassis, other-
wise operation of the transaxle may be erratic.
IMPORTANT:
DO NOT TOW
this mower faster
than 2 mph (3.2 km/h) with the transaxle lockout
engaged. Towing can produce excessive internal
pressure and damage the transaxle(s).
Hourmeter
The hourmeter, which is located on the right front
of the body, displays
operating time
accumulated
while the PTO (blade drive) is
engaged.
Some tractors are equipped with hourmeters that
provide maintenance reminders after certain hours
of operation. The hourmeter screen will start flash-
ing the reminder one hour prior to the recommend-
ed interval and will continue until one hour after the
recommended interval (two hours).
● 4-6 hours: Oil Change (Break-In)
● 24-26 hours: Lube
● 49-51 hours: Oil Change
The hourmeter reminders are set for the most
frequent service intervals. Follow the intervals
outlined in the
Maintenance Schedule Chart on
page 47
for this tractor.
The hourmeter
does not have a manual reset
function.
NOTE:
The blinking hour glass on the display
means that the meter is operating properly.

Circuit Breakers
Two (2) 5 amp fuses are located underneath the
seat panel adjacent to ignition switch, and they
protect the safety circuits and relays. An auto-
reset 30 amp master circuit breaker is located in
the rear left of the chassis and protects the chang-
ing system.
