What to do if ...
?
... the newly inserted
lamps flicker?
Only applicable to dimmable lights
(e.g. DUW 228
/D
).
To avoid flickering of new (not
burned-in) fluorescent lamps, first
use them for some time (approx.
100 h) in undimmed condition
(see information provided by the
manufacturer).
... the lamps are not
dimmed synchronously?
Only applicable to dimmable lights
(e.g. DUW 228
/D
).
If the lamps do not dim in the same
way, carry out the following steps
for synchronising:
a) Press the switch longer -> all
lamps are switched on
b) Press the switch briefly -> all
lamps are switched off
c) Press the switch longer -> all
lamps are switched on at the
minimum dimming level and
then increase the dimming
level.
After these 3 steps - long-short-
long - the lamps are again synchro-
nised. The adjusted dim value is not
changed by this process.
