F I/O Module with PROFIsafe Mode V2.4 or V2.6
PROFIBUS
To use the F I/O module with PROFIsafe Mode V2.4 and PROFIBUS, the
F I/O
module with designation “75x-668 4FAI 0/4-20mA V2.4” must be selected
from the device catalog and added to the fieldbus node.
PROFINET
To use the F I/O module with PROFIsafe Mode V2.6 and PROFINET, the
F I/O
module with designation “75x-668/000-004 4FAI 0/4-20mA Diff PROFIsafe”
must be selected from the device catalog and added to the fieldbus node.
The submodule with designation “4FAI, PROFIsafe V2.4” must also be used for
PROFIsafe M
ode V2.4. The submodule with designation “4FAI, PROFIsafe V2.6”
must also be used for PROFIsafe Mode V2.6.
For the above configurations, the F_iPar_CRC is always checked against the
iPar CRC. Thus, it is permissible to operate the F I/O module without password
protection for the iParameters.
Behavior of the F I/O module when discrepancies occur between
F_iPar_CRC and iPar-CRC!
If the F I/O module detects a discrepancy between F_iPar_CRC and iPar CRC,
secure communication is not established.
After you have configured the F I/O module, create the required call structure for
the safety program. The required system calls and system settings to activate the
safety program are added to the project.
Then configure the F I/O module using the WAGO parameterization tool (see the
Section “Commissioning” > … > “Parameterization of the F I/O Module with the
WAGO Parameterization Tool”). The WAGO parameterization tool displays the
iPar_CRC. Note this for the next step (e.g., copy to clipboard).
Then adjust the F parameters of the F I/O module by setting the F_iPar_CRC in
the hardware configuration environment to the value from the WAGO
parameterization tool.
Use of default iParameter set
You can use the default iParameter set of the F I/O module without changing the
iParameter settings. Apply the value of the F_iPar_CRC parameter specified in
Section “Appendix” > … > “Overview of PROFIsafe F Parameters” by setting the
F_iPar_CRC to this value in the hardware configuration environment.
