The module has 2 output channels and enables, for example, the direct wiring of 

two 2-conductor actuators. The actuators are connected to the CAGE CLAMP

®

 

connectors AO 1 and 0 V or AO 2 and 0 V.

The Ex i XTR I/O module (750-585/040-000) receives the 24 V voltage supply 

potential and the 0V potential for the field level from an upstream Ex i XTR I/O 

module or from the “Power Supply 24 VDC Diagn for Ex i XTR Modules” 750-

606/040-000 via the power contacts designed as blade contacts.  

The Ex i XTR I/O module (750-585/040-000) provides these potentials to 

subsequent I/O modules via the power contacts designed as spring contacts.

The maximum current available from the “Power Supply 24 VDC Diagn for Ex i 

XTR Modules” 750-606/040-000 is 1 A.  

When configuring the system, ensure that this current is not exceeded.  

If exceeded, an additional 750-606/040-000 must be used.
