AC Charging
The AC/DC adapter provides a slow, steady charge to the unit. Do not operate the lamp while
the AC/DC charging adapter is charging the lamp, you may damage the charging adapter
and discharge the lamp’s batteries. Recharge for a maximum of 24 hours. Do not overcharge.
1. Make sure all switches are set to “O”, the off position.
2. Insert the DC end into the charging jack on the unit.
3. Plug the AC end into a wall outlet.
4. The red charging LED will light up to indicate the lamp is charging.
DC Charging
Any 12 Volt DC powered socket, such as ones found in vehicles, boats, and jump starters can
charge this lamp using the DC/DC charging adapter. For a full charge, the power source must
be from a vehicle or boat DC outlet and the engine should be running. Charge for 5 hours
maximum. Do not overcharge.
1. Make sure all switches are set to “O”, the off position.
2. With the DC/DC charging adaptor, insert the small DC plug into the DC jack
on the lamp.
3. Plug the larger DC plug into the cigarette lighter socket.
4. The red charging LED will light up to indicate the lamp is charging.
MAINTENANCE
User Replaceable Halogen Bulb
The 3 Million Brite-Nite
™
Spotlight LED Lantern
™
uses a 6V, 45W, H3 halogen bulb. Please go
to your local automotive/hardware store for a replacement when the bulb has burned out.
NOTE: Be sure you do NOT touch the glass of the halogen bulb with your bare hands, doing
so may cause the bulb to shatter. Please refer to the instructions found on the new bulb for
other safety precautions. Always wear safety glasses when working with hardware.
1. Simply unscrew the lamp face and carefully change the bulb.
2. The WHITE wire of the replacement bulb connects to the unit’s RED wire.
3. The BLACK wire of the replacement bulb connects to the unit’s BLACK wire.
4. After replacing the halogen bulb, screw on the lamp face back on. Make sure it is a tight
fit to ensure no water will enter the housing.
LED Lantern
The LED lantern uses bright LEDs that do not need changing. The lifespan of the LEDs should
last up to 10,000 hrs. Do not attempt to alter or change the LEDs.

All electronic equipment contains materials that can damage the environment if not properly
disposed of. Contact your local authority for disposal or recycling instructions.
