Draining Water and Sediment from the Fuel Tank

Prerequisites

Machine shut down

Suitable container

When

Every 100 hours of service or every 2 weeks

Procedure

Follow the procedure below to drain water and sediment from the fuel tank.

1. Locate the drain plug

(a)

under the front center of the machine.

2. Remove the drain plug and allow water and sediment to drain into a suitable

container.

Note:

Collect, store and dispose of all used fluids in accordance with current envi-

ronmental protection regulations.

3. Re-install the drain plug.
