Troubleshooting
In the event that your unit is not operating properly, check the following before calling for service assistance—this may save you
the cost of unnecessary service calls.

Unit not operating
Unit unplugged

This can be caused by contents of unit
being set too close and rattling against
each other
Hissing or gurgling sound is caused by
refrigerating fluid circulating and is
normal
Noise can result if unit is not level on
floor
Re-arrange content as needed

Insufficient cooling
Thermostat set too high
Unit frosted
Samples placed against air vents
obstructing airflow.
Reduce thermostat setting
Wait for 30 minutes for defrost cycle to
end
Relocate the sample
Unit warms up
Door is Open
Door is Seal
Warm product recently loaded in unit
Compressor
Make sure the door is completely
closed
Check the door seal
Allow ample time to recover from
loading warm product
If the compressor is not running, have
an electrician check for proper voltage
to the unit
If the compressor is running, contact an
authorized service provider or call the
technical support hot line for assistance
Longer sound levels when
compressor comes on
Unit operates at high pressures during
the start of the “ON” cycle
This is normal. Sound will level off or
disappear as unit continues to run
Fan runs when room temperature
is below 45°C (113°F)
Exterior thermostat has activated heater
and fan
This is normal
