ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
 
1.

STARTING FROM THE TOP RIGHT CORNER, PULL THE 
BUNGEE CORD BETWEEN THE GROMMETS UNTIL 
MILDLY TENSIONED (ABOUT 7-12 POUNDS OF FORCE).

2.

WORK FROM RIGHT TO LEFT PULLING THE SLACK AND 
TENSIONING.

3.

WHEN YOU GET TO THE TOP LEFT CORNER, PULL THE 
SLACK THRU THE LAST GROMMET AND RE-WRAP THE 
LACING POST ON THE CORNER BRACKET.

4.

REMOVE THE END WITH THE LOOP FROM THE LACING 
POST AND PULL UNTIL IT HAS THE APPROXIMATELY 
THE SAME TENSION AS BETWEEN THE GROMMETS.

5.

ATTACH THE LOOPED END TO A LACING POST. IF THE 
LOOP STRETCHES MORE THAN 3-4 POSTS IN FROM THE
END, REMOVE THE KNOT AND RE-TIE IT FURTHER 
DOWN.

6.

REPEAT STEPS 1-5 FOR THE BOTTOM, STARTING FROM 
THE LOWER RIGHT CORNER AND WORKING FROM 
RIGHT TO LEFT.

7.

ADJUST THE SCREEN UNTIL IT IS CENTERED 
VERTICALLY ON THE FRAME.

8.

REPEAT STEPS 1-6 FOR THE RIGHT AND LEFT SIDES 
RESPECTIVELY. THEN ADJUST THE SCREEN UNTIL IT IS 
CENTERED HORIZONTALLY AND VERTICALLY.

9.

REPEAT STEPS 1-8, INCREASING TENSION UNTIL THE 
SCREEN IS FREE OF WRINKLES AND SOUNDS LIKE A 
DRUM WHEN TAPPED. THIS SHOULD NOT REQUIRE 
MORE THAN 15-25 POUNDS OF TENSION AND MAY 
REQUIRE LESS.

10.

AFTER THE SCREEN IS TENSIONED, EXCESS BUNGEE 
CORD MAY BE CUT OFF. LEAVE 1-2 INCHES OF CORD 
PAST THE KNOT FOR FUTURE ADJUSTMENTS. 

ASSEMBLY STEP 7: TENSION THE SCREEN

START HERE (STEP 1) AND

WORK FROM RIGHT TO LEFT.

DO NOT START TENSIONING THE
 SIDES UNTIL BOTH THE TOP AND 
BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN ARE TENSIONED.

RE-TIE THE LOOPS AS REQUIRED AFTER TENSIONING
SO THAT THEY ATTACH TO A LACING POST WITHIN 18 INCHES
OF THE CORNER. EXCESS MAY BE CUT OFF AFTER TENSIONING,
LEAVE 1-2 INCHES OF EXCESS FOR FUTURE ADJUSTMENT.
