4.0 MAINTENANCE, CARE,
AND DISPOSAL
The hand assembly tools are maintenance-free. For a longer service life we recommend oiling the
roller chain and the sprocket on occasion with usual machine oil. Replace defective components
immediately and only with original spare parts as specified in Appendix A (original parts list). If neces-
sary a general refurbishing can be agreed with the manufacturer.
4.2 CLEANING
Periodic cleaning is necessary due to the ambient conditions and the use of the tool. If the tool
is used for a longer period of time, LOKPREP can accumulate, particularly in the front area
(assembly jaws). Remove the LOKPREP directly after assembly with a lint-free cloth.
4.3 DISPOSAL
For mono-fraction recycling the valid national regulations must be complied with. If a return or
disposal agreement has not been concluded, then recycle dismantled components. If needed,
the tool can be sent back to the manufacturer with the request for disposal.
4.1 STORAGE
Store the hand assembly tool in a dry and dust-free location.
