Content and purpose 

This  handbook  is  for  maintenance  of  water  heater 
Vulcan Core One (further referred to as Vulcan). 
 

ATTENTION: 

Work on the Vulcan may only be performed by 

briefed and/or trained by EKU personnel. 

Effectivity of the maintenance manual 

The maintenance manual applies to the Vulcan Core 
One heater supplied by EKU Power Drives. It may be 
subjected to modifications and amendments.  
The respectively currently effective version is binding. 
This version can be found on the EKU Power Drives 
website under Products/Vulcan Heater/Downloads.

to.  "General  Safety  Regulations"  which  exceed  the 
framework  of  these  provisions  are  listed  below.  The 
specific  safety  regulations  which  affect  the  present 
manual  are  issued  highlighted  in  the  individual  sec-
tions or procedures. 

General safety regulations 

Read  the  Vulcan  Operating  Instructions  before  oper-
ating the heater for first time. Familiarize yourself with 
the  Vulcan  Installation  Instructions  before  you  make 
any modifications to the existing heater installation. 

 

NOTE: 

The Vulcan Operating and Service Instructions con-
tain safety instructions and regulations to be followed 
for safe operation of the heater. 

 

The Vulcan Installation Instructions contain the statu-
tory  regulations  and  other  hints  and  regulations  for 
the proper installation of the heater.
