My handset does not
rng when I receve
a call.
•
Make sure you have the rnger actvated. Refer to the secton(s) on rnger selecton n ths
user’s manual.
•
Make sure the telephone line cord is plugged firmly into the base unit and the telephone jack.
Make sure the power cord s plugged n.
•
The handset may be too far from the base unt.
•
Charge the battery n the handset for 16 hours. For optmum daly performance, return the
handset to ts base unt when not n use.
•
You may have too many extenson telephones on your telephone lne to allow all of them to
rng. Try unpluggng some of the other telephones.
•
The layout of your home or office might be limiting the operating range. Try moving the telephone
base to another location, preferably on an upper floor.
•
If the other telephones n your home are havng the ssue, the problem s n your wrng or local
servce. Contact your local telephone company (charges may apply).
•
Test a workng telephone at the telephone jack. If another telephone has the same problem, the
problem s the telephone jack. Contact your local telephone company (charges may apply).
•
Other electronc products can cause nterference wth your cordless telephone. Try nstallng
your telephone as far away from these types of electronc devces as possble: wreless routers,
rados, rado towers, pager towers, cell phones, ntercoms, room montors, televsons, personal
computers, ktchen applances and other cordless telephones
•
Your lne cord mght be malfunctonng. Try nstallng a new lne cord.
