Energy-saving charging mode
When this mode is activated, all telephone
functions, except handset battery charging, will
be disabled.
To activate the energy-saving
charging mode in CTM-S2415 &
CTM-2415HC:
1. Remove the plastic cover, sliding the base
power switch to the off
position.
2. Tapping the handset power tact-switch to
the off position. When the telephone base and
handset successfully enters the energy-saving
charging mode, all keys on the telephone base
should not respond.
Note
• Make sure the telephone base power adapter or
the ethernet cable is plugged in the power outlet.
• Make sure all handsets are plugged with batteries
and cradled in charger.
When the phone fails to enter this mode,
repeat Step 1 through Step 2 above.
To deactivate the energy-saving
charging mode:
Move the base power switch and handset
power tact-switch back to the on
position. Then
plug the telephone base power adapter or the
ethernet cable back in to reconnect the power.
Register the handsets back to the telephone
base. See page 13 for handset registration
instructions.
