Answering system
Use the answering system menu of a cordless handset to
turn on or off the answering system, message alert tone
or call screening, set up the announcement message, or
change the number of rings, remote access code or message
recording time.
Announcement
The telephone is preset with a greeting that answers calls with, “
Hello. Please leave
a message after the tone.
” You can use this preset announcement, or replace it
with your own
.
Record your own announcement
You can record an announcement up to 90 seconds, but any announcement
shorter than two seconds will not be recorded.
