Configuring the Phone
Changing the password
To enhance security, it is recommended to change the default user password that
you use to log on to the WebUI.
To change the user password:
1. From the User Settings menu, press
Edit Password
.
The Edit Password menu appears.
2. Enter the current password (for a new deskset, the default password is
user
).
3. Enter and re-enter a new password. The password is case sensitive and can
consist of both numbers and letters (to a maximum of 15 characters).
4. Press
Save
.
Restarting the phone
To restart the phone:
1. From the User Settings menu, press
RESTART
.
The RESTART menu appears.
2. Press
RESTART
.
After a pause, the phone restarts.
