Setting the Key Unlock PIN
If you are authorized to do so, you can set the PIN to unlock the phone.
When the phone is locked, you cannot make outgoing calls unless you enter
a PIN. However, you can still make a call to an emergency number (911, for
example). This emergency number is configured for your area by your system
administrator.
If your phone has been locked unnecessarily, see your system administrator.
To change the Unlock PIN:
1. From the User Settings menu, press
Phone Lock
.
The Phone Lock menu appears.
2. Enter the current PIN and then press
q
.
The default PIN is
1234
.
3. Enter the new PIN.
4. Re-enter the new PIN and then press
Save
.
