IPv4
If you disable DHCP on this page, you must configure static IP settings for the
VSP736. You must be familiar with TCP/IP principles and protocols to configure
static IP settings.
Setting
Description
Disable
Disables all related IPv4 settings.
DHCP is selected (enabled) by default, which means the
VSP736 will get its IP address, Subnet Mask, Gateway, and
DNS Server(s) from the network. When DHCP is disabled,
you must enter a static IP address for the VSP736, as well
as addresses for the Subnet Mask, Gateway, and DNS
Server(s).
