10.5.4 Testing the Selected Printer
Click on the 'Print Test Label' button to cause a test label to be printed on the label printer, see example below:
NOTE:
The logger application sends the print 'job' to the Windows Print Spooler, the Windows Print Spooler is
responsible
for sending the print 'data' to the selected printer. If the selected printer is switched off or disconnected there is no
notification of this fact back to the Logger Application. The print 'job' will sit in the Windows Print Spooler
'Queue' until the
selected printer becomes available. At this point the print
'job' is printed as are any other queued print jobs.
Logo Offset:
The logo offset sets the position that the logo is printed on the label. Its default position is: Top Margin = 1, Logo Offset = 1.
This causes the logo to be printed on the Top Left of the label.
10.6 Database
To display the Database
screen, click on the 'Database' menu item on the supervisor screen.
The Database screen shows the current storage location of the database, in this example the database is located on a
network drive: QNAP

name is: network_database.csv
