Fault Solution
Bearings noisy and/or turn difficult. Replace bearings (1)
Fan does not start or rotates too slow. No power supply:
• Turn on mains power supply
• Switch on controller
• Check fuse and replace, if necessary(1)
With power supply:
• Check condenser and replace, if necessary(1)
• Check motor and replace, if necessary(1)
Motor protection switch turns the fan off. • Clean
• Replace bearings (1)
• Check motor and replace, if necessary (1)
• Repair or replace controller (1)
Impeller rotates slowly (less than 520 rpm
at full power supply)
• Check if all phases are connected
• Check if the correct voltage is supplied
(1) Use original spare parts only!

12. Malfunctions / Repair
Caution: In case the fan does not rotate, this may be caused by the thermal protection. The fan
turns on again automatically. Contact your installer in case of malfunction.
To be checked by the installer:
• Is there a problem with the mains power supply?
• Is the fuse blown?
• Is the wiring loose?
• Have the bearings seized?
• Is the impeller blocked?
