08. Start-up
Before connecting the fan to mains power supply be sure that the specifications on the production label match the
local voltage and frequency. Make sure that the controller is suitable for the fan and that the fan is suitable for the
controller.
CAUTION: If the fan is provided with a cable and the type label states AAxx, wiring diagram I of FIG
VI applies.
CAUTION: If the fan is provided with a cable and the type label states ABxx or ACxx, wiring diagram
II of FIG VI applies.
For Star or Delta consult the type label, see FIG I:
D = Delta connected for 230V.
Y = Star connected for 400V.
To change the direction of rotation for single phase fans the brown and red wires have to be exchanged.
3-phase fans rotate with a left-rotating field and standard connection in the correct direction.
09. Putting out of service
To put the fan out of service follow the assembly and install instruction in the Assembly Manual in reverse order.
10. Disposal / Recycling
Disposal must be carried out professionally and environmentally friendly in accordance with the legal stipulations.
