and equipped with an efficient earthing system. If in doubt, have a qualified electrician perform a thorough check.
• Vortice cannot assume any responsibility for damage to property or personal injury resulting from failure to abide
by the instructions given in this booklet.
• Connect the appliance to the electrical power supply only if the system is able to provide the maximum electrical
voltage and capacity indicated on the rating plate at maximum power.
• Before carrying out any type of cleaning or maintenance operation, turn the appliance off and turn the main power
switch off to disconnect it from the power supply.
• Should the appliance be dropped or suffer a heavy blow, have it checked immediately by Vortice.
• When carrying out maintenance operations, never touch the bulbs directly, but only the terminal casings. The bulb
will be damaged by contact with naked hands; in this eventuality the product guarantee will no longer be
considered valid.
• In the event of accidental contact with the surface of the bulb, clean it immediately by wiping with a cloth dipped
in alcohol.
• If the appliance does not function correctly or develops a fault, turn it off and contact Vortice* immediately.
• Ensure that only genuine original Vortice spares are used for any repairs. If the power supply cable is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer or by an authorized Vortice Technical Assistance Center, in order to
prevent any risk.”
• Switch off the appliance at the main switch: a) if the appliance does not function correctly; b) before cleaning the
outside of the appliance, c) if the appliance is not to be used for long periods of time.
• Do not cover or block the front heat irradiation grille.
• Do not cover or block the appliance during use.
• Keep the front grille clean.
• The appliance's safety guard has been specially designed to prevent direct access to the heater elements; this
guard must be kept in position at all times during operation.
