• In the event of: device dismantling, using appropriate tools, heat exchanger removal, motor module removal:
the device must already be switched off and disconnected from the electrical mains.
• Switch off the main switch on the system when: a malfunction is detected, you decide to perform external
cleaning maintenance, you decide not to use the device for short or long periods.
• The device cannot be used as an activator for water heaters, stoves, etc. nor should it discharge into the hot
air ducts of said devices.
• The extracted air flow must be clean (or rather free of grease, soot, chemical and corrosive substances or
explosive and flammable mixtures).
• Never cover the device intake and return to ensure optimal air passage.
• Make sure that the power supply voltage of the mains, the frequency, the number of phases and the nominal
power supply comply with the unit label data.
• The unit must be equipped with a three-pole switch.
• Make sure that the regulations and practices regarding the place of installation and use of this equipment
are complied with.
• Do not install this unit where it may be subject to splashing water .
• When the unit is used to manage moist air, a condensate collection and discharge system must be
incorporated in the exhaust pipe to ensure safe and healthy operation in compliance with regulations.
• DO NOT use this unit where there is, excessive dust, or an air rich in fibre, oil grease are present
• Be sure not to damage hidden electrical cables when installing the unit.
• The exhaust air must be released to the outside.
• The motors are equipped with watertight bearings and therefore do not need lubrication

Precautions must be taken to prevent the backflow of gas from the
gas exhaust pipe or other fuel-burning appliances into the room (for
duct fans and window or wall fans)

The installation of the flush-mounted box for the remote display
must only be carried out by professionally qualified personnel.

In case of damage to the power cable, have a Vortice Assistance Centre
replace it immediately.

An omnipolar switch is required for installation, with a contact
opening distance that is equal to or greater than 3 mm, which allows
for complete disconnection under overvoltage category III

Products equipped with single-phase wiring (M) engines ALWAYS
require connection to 220-240V (or only 230V where required)
single-phase lines. Any kind of modification shall be considered as
product tampering and shall nullify the relative warranty.
