Connecting the dust extraction system (Fig. A, C)

It is highly recommended to use the machine with

the dust hose and dust bag, ensuring optimal dust

extraction.

•    Push the Dust hose (13) onto the Dust extracti-

on port (6) as shown on figure C.

•    Make sure the dust bag is mounted to the dust

hose. The dust bag is fitted with a carrying

strap, allowing the user to carry the dust bag

whilst using the tool.

Note:

The dust bag should be emptied when the

bag is half full to maintain optimal dust extraction.

Mounting and removing sanding paper (Fig. B)

•    Hold the machine on its side or upside down, as

shown on Fig. B

•    Mount sanding paper (12) with the required

grain size onto the sanding pad (11). Make

sure that the perforation in the sanding paper

(12) corresponds with the perforation on the

sanding pad (11).

•    To remove the sanding paper (12), simply pull

the sanding paper from the sanding pad (11).

Note:

Use coarse sanding paper for sanding rough,

uneven surfaces. Use medium sanding paper for

removing the remaining scratches from the coarse

sanding paper. Use fine sanding paper for finishing

surfaces.

Replacing the sanding pad (Fig. A)

Only install the sanding pad specified by the

manufacturer onto the machine.

Removing the sanding pad:

1.   Remove sanding paper (12) from the sanding

pad (11).

2.   Insert the supplied hex key into the bolt on the

sanding pad (11).

3.

Whilst holding the sanding pad (11) firmly, turn

the wrench anti-clockwise to loosen the hex bolt.

4.  The sanding pad (11) now can be removed.

Mounting the sanding pad:

1.  Mount the sanding pad (11) onto the machine.

2.   Insert the bolt into the sanding pad (11) and

insert the hex key into the bolt.

3.   Whilst holding the sanding pad (11) firmly, turn

the wrench clockwise to fasten the hex bolt.

4. OPERATION

Switching on and off (Fig. A)

•    To switch on the machine, press the lock-on

button (3) and afterwards the on/off switch (1).

•    To switch the machine to continuous mode, keep

the on/off switch (1) pressed and simultaneously

press the lock-on button (3).

•    To switch off continuous mode, press the on/off

switch (1) again.

•    To switch off the machine, release the on/off

switch (1).

Note:

It is recommended to keep the motor running

for a short period of time after sanding, so that

residual dust can be collected into the bag.

Speed adjustment  (Fig. A)

The required speed can be adjusted by using the

Speed adjustment wheel (4). Also during operation

the rotational speed can be adjusted.

•    To increase the speed, turn the Speed adjust-

ment knob (4) clockwise.

•    To decrease the speed, turn the Speed adjust-

ment knob (4) anti-clockwise.

The required speeds depends on the material

and can be determined by practical testing.

Suction power adjustment (Fig. A)

The machine is fitted with a self-extracting dust

system, allowing dust to be extracted from the

working surface into the dust bag, helping to

maintain a clean and healthy working environment.

The suction power can be adjusted by turning the

Suction power adjustment wheel (7).

•    To increase the suction power, turn the Suction

power adjustment wheel (7) clockwise.

•    To decrease the suction power, turn the Suction

power adjustment wheel (7) anti-clockwise.

Note:

The extraction system will only function while

the tool is in operation.

Sanding close to edges (Fig. A)

The front lid (9) of the Sanding pad cover (10) can

be removed, allowing sanding close to edges.

To remove the front lid, slide the Removable front

lid (9) downwards. To mount the lid again, simply

slide the Removable front lid (9) upwards back in

position.
