Checking the battery charging status (Fig. A)
• The Battery LED indicator (4) indicates the
battery charge status.
• The battery has 3 lights indicating the charge
level, the more lights that burn, the more charge
the battery has left.
• When the lights are not burning it means the bat-
tery is empty and must be charged immediately.
When the machine is not being used over a
longer period of time it is best to store the
battery in charged condition.
Connecting to a cigarette lighter socket (Fig. A, B, C)
Verify the socket of the cigarette lighter in
your vehicle has an adequately sized fuse.
Alternatively to using the integrated li-ion battery,
the machine can also be powered from a 12V
cigarette lighter socket. This could come in handy,
for example, if the battery is empty, but there is no
possibility to recharge.
• Plug the power plug (13) into the power connec-
tor (19) on the machine.
• Plug the cigarette lighter plug (11) into the
socket of the 12V cigarette lighter. If you are
unsure how to perform this, please consult the
manual of the vehicle.
When using 12V cigarette lighter socket as
power source, please start vehicle to
protect vehicle battery.
Connecting the valve without valve adapter
(Fig. A, B, C, D, F, G)
Use a calibrated pressure gauge (e.g. at a
petrol station) to check the required tire
pressure. It is imperative to read the
information in the vehicle’s owner manual
concerning the inflation of tires.
1. Open the connection valves (14) on both sides
of the air pressure hose (15), so the clamping
levers (23) will be in position as shown on figure
D1.
2.
Put one of the open connection valves onto the air
pressure outlet connector (22) on the machine,
as shown on figure F. Now close the valve by
pushing the clamping lever (24) downwards.
3. Mount the other open connection valve (14)
onto the valve of the inflatable (if necessary,
first remove valve cover of the inflatable). Now
also close this valve by pushing the clamping
lever (24) downwards, as shown on figure G.
Connecting the valve with valve adapter
(Fig. A, B, C, D, F)
Take care not to over-inflate footballs, they
might burst.
Given the material composition of inflatable
mattresses, inflatable boats etc., the air
pressure cannot be indicated exactly. Take
care therefore not to over-inflate such items
or they might burst.
3. Push the respective valve adapter (5-10) into
the opening of the other open connection valve
(14). Now also close this valve by pushing the
clamping lever (24) downwards.
4. Insert the valve adapter (5-10) into the valve on
the inflatable (if necessary, first remove valve
cover of the inflatable).
Switching the machine on/off (Fig. A, C)
• Press the on/off switch (21) and the machine
will turn on.
• To turn the machine off, again press the on/off
switch (21).
Note:
the machine will switch off automatically
after about 10 minutes to save battery life.
Changing the Unit of Measurement (Fig. A, E)
For the pressure indicator, the units bar and psi
are available. To change the unit of measurement,
short press the unit change button (29) until the
required unit of measurement appears in the
measuring unit indicator (28).
