6) Service

a)

Have your power tool serviced by a qualified

repair person using only identical replacement

parts.

This will ensure that the safety of the

power tool is maintained.

b)

 Never service damaged battery packs.

Service

of battery packs should only be performed by the

manufacturer or authorized service providers.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY WARNINGS FOR DRILLS

AND SCREW DRIVERS

a)

Wear ear protectors when impact drilling

Exposure to noise can cause hearing loss.

b)

Use auxiliary handle(s), if supplied with the

tool

. Loss of control can cause personal injury.

c)

Hold the power tool by insulated gripping surfa

ces, when performing an operation where the

fastener may contact hidden wiring.

 Fasteners

contacting a “live” wire may make exposed

metal parts of the power tool “live” and could

give the operator an electric shock.

d)

Hold the machine with a firm grip.

 High reaction

torque can briefly occur while driving in and

loosening screws.

e)

Secure the workpiece.

A workpiece clamped

with clamping devices or in a vice is held more

secure than by hand.

f)

Always wait until the machine has come to a

complete stop before placing it down.

 The tool

insert can jam and lead to loss of control over

the power tool.

g)

Before any work on the machine (e. g., main

tenance, tool change, etc.) as well as during

transport and storage, set the direction switch

to the middle position.

Unintentional actuation

of the On/Off switch can lead to injuries.

BATTERY TOOL USE AND CARE

a)

Recharge only with the charger specified by the

manufacturer.

A charger that is suitable for one

type of battery pack may create a risk of fire

when used with another battery pack.

b)

Use power tools only with specifically desig

nated battery packs.

Use of any other battery

packs may create a risk of injury and fire.

c)

When battery pack is not in use, keep it away

from other metal objects, like paper clips,

coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal

objects, that can make a connection from one

terminal to another.

Shorting the battery termi-

nals together may cause burns or a fire.

d)

Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected

from the battery; avoid contact. If contact acci

dentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts

eyes, additionally seek medical help.

Liquid ejec-

ted from the battery may cause irritation or burns.

SERVICE

a)

Have your power tool serviced by a qualified

repair person using only identical replacement

parts.

ged. Unscrew the screws on the housing and

remove the housing shell in order to remove the

battery. To prevent a short circuit, disconnect the

connectors on the battery one at a time and then

isolate the poles. Even when fully discharged,

the battery still contains a residual capacity,

which can be released in case of a short circuit.

is not possible to eliminate all residual risk factors.

The following hazards may arise in connection with

the power tool’s construction and design:

if the power tool is being used over longer

period of time or not adequately managed and

properly maintained.

b)   Injuries and damage to property to due to bro-
