INTENDED USE Only operate the product for its
intended purpose and within the parameters specified
in this manual.
This product is for domestic use only.
Ensure the product rating matches the power outlet.
Use with RCD protected power supply only. Only use for
charging compatible electric vehicles.
This product is not intended for use by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised or
given appropriate instruction concerning the product ’s
use by a person responsible for their safety.
Never use a domestic multi socket extension lead when
charging your electric vehicle unless otherwise stated by
the car manufacturer charging instructions.
ALWAYS use this product in conjunction with Vehicle
charging instructions. Ensure you frequently check your
charging cable for wear and tear and replace it if any
damage is evident. Do not use if any part of the equip-
ment is damaged.
If you are charging from a 13A mains socket in your
home, ensure the wiring in your property has been
checked prior to doing so. Old wiring may not be able
to cope with the demand from charging your vehicle
overnight and risk a fire in your property.
Before using the charger, read all instructions, labels and
cautionary markings on the charger.
DANGER Do not use the charger if it has been subject-
ed to a heavy knock, dropped, or otherwise damaged
in any way. Take the charger to an authorised service
centre for it to be checked and repaired.
DANGER Risk of Electrical shock or burn. The device
contains no user serviceable parts. Please do not leave
until the control box is in charging status.
Do not attempt to disassemble the charger by opening
or removing covers.
To reduce risk of damage to the electric plug and cord,
pull by the plug rather than the cord when disconnecting
the charger.
Do not drop the communications box.
Do not place the charger inside the vehicle or any other
confined space whilst charging.
A Short-circuit protective device (MCB) should be used
before the Charger input.
GENERAL PRECAUTION
Before use ensure the charger is free from any abnormal
conditions, such as laceration, rust, rupture or breakage
of charging ports, cables, control boxes, wires, and plug
surfaces.
Do not use this charger if the socket is damaged, rust-
ed, cracked or loosely connected.
Do not use the charger if it has become dirty or has
become wet.
Do not allow to be used as a toy. Children should be
supervised to ensure they do not play with the product.
If the product is not functioning properly, has been
dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or immersed in liquid,
do not use, contact DOMU Brands Customer Services.
Do not use the product if any parts appear to be faulty,
missing or damaged.
Ensure all parts are securely attached before use.
Never soak or immerse electrical components and or a
component that has a plug attached.
Make sure that the cord is located so that it will not be
stepped on, tripped over, or otherwise subjected to
damage or stress.
Remove the plug from the mains socket before carrying
out any adjustment or maintenance.
Always store the product in a dry place.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a
qualified service technician.
Clean the product by rubbing it with a clean cloth and
blow it clean using low-pressure compressed air is
recommended.
