Driving Light Switches
Headlights
The headlight switch controls parking lights
and headlights. It is a two position rotary
switch, turning on parking lights, cab
marker lamps and taillights in the first posi-
tion and turning on headlights in the
second position.
To change between high and low beam,
pull the direction indicator lever all the way
toward the steering wheel. When a slight
clicking sound is heard, release the lever.
NOTE!
When switching from high to low
beam for oncoming traffic, release the lever
as soon as the beam change is made. Hold-
ing the lever up makes the headlight flash
function stay engaged.

The headlight is combined into one aerody-
namic assembly. The halogen bulbs are
accessed from the rear of the assembly.
Headlights do not need to be checked for
aim after bulb replacement. For more infor-
mation on changing the headlight bulb, see
page 308.
Daytime Running Lights (DRL) are stan-
dard. They are automatically switched on
when the parking brakes are released (igni-
tion must be on) and will stay on until the
parking brakes are engaged.
NOTE!
Do not use DRL at night or at any
time visibility is reduced. DRL is not a
substitute for the main vehicle lights when
driving at night.
