Preventive Maintenance

Check Rear Wheel Bearing Clearance

Note: For further information refer to literature in Func-
tion Group 7.

To perform a check of the rear wheel bearing clearance
complete the following:

•

Check wheel bearings with a dial indicator. Bearing
axial clearance should be within 0.04 to 0.12 mm
(0.001 to 0.005 in.).

Check Front Wheel Bearing Clearance

Note: For further information refer to literature in Func-
tion Group 7.

To perform a check of the front wheel bearing clearance
complete the following:

•

Check wheel bearings with a dial indicator. Bearing
