Inserting/removing the battery
Inserting the battery pack
Slide the battery pack into the handle until it
engages.
Removing the battery pack:
Press the release button and remove the
battery pack.
Checking the battery charge level
To check the battery status, press the battery
charge level button. The status/remaining
charge is shown on the battery display LED
as follows:
GREEN/RED/ORANGE = maximum charge
RED/ORANGE = medium charge
RED = low charge – charge the battery.
Adjust the position of the additional
handle
You can adjust the additional handle in six
positions.
Loosen the wing nut by turning it counter-
clockwise.
Turn the additional handle to the desired
position.
Lock the new position by tightening the
wing nut in clock-wise direction.
Mounting the dust collector
The dust collector must always be mounted
with the filter fitted cover upwards.
Align the two lugs on the dust collector tube
with the two grooves on the dust container
and push the collection container inward.
Then turn the dust collection container
clockwise to lock it in place.
Connect a vacuum cleaner
Use only a vacuum cleaner that is suitable
for the purpose, such as an industrial vacu-
um cleaner.
Align the two lugs on the tube on the sand-
er with the two slots on the adapter and
push the adapter inward. Turn the adapter
clockwise to lock it in place. Then connect a
suitable vacuum cleaner to the adapter.
Fire hazard! Dust in dust containers, vacu-
um cleaners or filters can be self-igniting or
ignited by abrasive sparks, hot workpieces
or other sources of ignition, especially if they
come in contact with polyurethane, sol-
vent-based paint or other chemicals. Make
sure that the tool and / or workpiece does
not overheat. Always empty the dust con-
tainer before stopping work.

during operation pose the risk to the health

c) The device is not a toy and does not be-
long in the hands of children.
Before use
Charging the battery pack
Never charge the battery pack at an
ambient temperature of below 10°C or
above 40°C.
If a lithium-ion battery is to be stored for
an extended period, the charge level
must be checked regularly. The optimum
charge level is between 50% and 80%.
Always disconnect the mains plug before
removing the battery pack from or inserting
it into the charger.
CAUTION!
The storage climate should be cool and
dry and the ambient temperature should
be between 0°C and 50°C.
Insert the battery pack into the charger.
Insert the power plug into the socket. The
green charge control LED lights up briefly,
then the red charge control LED lights up.
The green control LED indicates that
charging is complete and the battery
pack is ready for use.
