Avant de mettre en service le produit, veuillez lire intégra-
lement le mode d’emploi, il contient des indications impor-
tantes pour son bon fonctionnement.
Tout dommage résultant d’un non-respect du présent
mode d’emploi entraîne l’annulation de la garantie ! Nous
déclinons toute responsabilité pour les dommages consé-
cutifs !
De même, nous n’assumons aucune responsabilité en cas de dom-
mages matériels ou corporels résultant d’une utilisation non confor-
me aux spécifications de l’appareil ou d’un non-respect des pré-
sentes consignes ! Dans ces cas, tout droit à la garantie sera
annulé.
Du point de vue de la sécurité, cet appareil a quitté l’usine en parfait
état. Pour maintenir le produit dans cet état et pour assurer un fonc-
tionnement sans risques, l’utilisateur est tenu d’observer les
consignes de sécurité et les avertissements figurant dans le présent
mode d’emploi. Respectez les pictogrammes suivants :
Dans ce mode d’emploi, un point d’exclamation placé
dans un triangle signale les informations importantes à
respecter impérativement.

mations et/ou modifications de l’appareil, réalisées à titre individuel,

battery pair blinksred. Remove the defective battery/batteries from
the UFC-1S and dispose of it/them in accordance with the relevant
statutory regulations.
- If there are no problems with the batteries, the charger automati-
cally switches into rapid charging mode. The charge status LED
over each battery pair indicates this by lighting up red.
- After the batteries have been fully charged, the charger will auto-
matically switch to cyclical maintenance charging. This is indicat-
ed by the charge status LEDs lighting up green.
- The batteries can be taken out of the UFC-1S and used. However,
it is not necessary to remove the batteries from the charger after
charging is completed (LEDs show green lights). The minus delta V
cut-off and the maintenance charging (trickle charging) prevent
overcharging of the batteries.
Refresh/discharge function
This function renews the „storage“ of the batteries by discharging
them. It is recommended to do this when your batteries do not func-
tion properly or have lost their capacity. Proceed as follows to acti-
vate the discharge function:
- After inserting the batteries into the charger (see „Charging bat-
teries“ section), press the discharge button on the UFC-1S.
- The refresh/discharge process begins. This is indicated by the
charge status LEDs lighting up yellow.
- Afterallof the inserted batteries have been completely dis-
charged, the rapid charging process begins automatically and the
charge status LEDs light up red.
Note
The discharge function can only be activated one minute after
beginning the charging function (when the charge status LEDs
light up red). You can switch to rapid charge mode by pressing
the discharge button during the discharge process.
Maintenance and care
Before cleaning or servicing, disconnect the charger from all power sup-
plies and remove the batteries. Use a soft, dry cloth only to clean the out-
side of the device. Never use anything moist or a cleaning agent. Mainte-
nance or repair may only be carried out by a specialist who is familiar
with the relevant regulations (VDE100, VDE 0701).
