• Avoid using the product immediately after it has been taken from a cold room
into a warm one.
The condensation that forms can ruin the product under certain
circumstances.
Allow the product to reach room temperature before connecting it to the power
supply and putting it to use. This may take several hours.
• Handle the product with care; impacts, blows, or a falls from a low height will
cause damage to the product.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a dan-
gerous plaything for children.

notes on reChArGeAbLe bAtteries
• The rechargeable battery is permanently installed in the housing of the power
bank and cannot be replaced.
• Never throw the device into a fire. There is danger of fire or explosion due to the
rechargeable batteries!
• Recharge the power bank regularly even if it is not in use (approximately every 3
months). Otherwise, it may result in a deep discharge of the battery, thus making
it permanently unusable.
No initial discharge is required before charging due to the rechargeable battery
technology used.
• Place the device on a heat-resistant surface when charging. A slight warming
during the charging process is normal.
• If your skin comes into contact with leaking or damaged batteries, you may suffer
burns. For this reason you should use suitable protective gloves in this case.
• Liquids leaking from rechargeable batteries are very chemically aggressive. Ob-
jects or surfaces that come into contact with these liquids might be considerably
damaged.
GettinG stArteD
Fully recharge the built-in rechargeable battery before each use.
Make sure that the power rating of your mobile device matches that of the device
(see “Technical Data” chapter).
Always read the operating instructions of your mobile device.
Do not short circuit the USB input/output of the power bank.
a) Checking the charge status of the built-in rechargeable battery
Press the control key on the power bank briefly to check the charge status of the built-in
rechargeable battery. 4 blue LEDs on the power bank indicate the charge status (1 LED on
= 25%, 2 LEDs = 50%, 3 LEDs = 75%, 4 LEDs = 100%). A single flashing LED indicates that
the charge level is below 25%.
The power bank turns off automatically after a few seconds and the blue LEDs go dark
again if no USB device is connected for charging.
b) Charging the built-in rechargeable battery
• Unplug the device which is connected to the power bank’s charging output.
It is not possible to use the charging output and recharge the power bank simultane-
ously.
• Connect the micro USB socket via the included USB cable to a suitable USB power supply
(e.g. the power supply that came with your mobile device/ smartphone). It must be able to
supply a current of at least 500 mA.
You can also connect the power bank to a USB port of a PC or a USB hub equipped with its
own power supply.
Do not use any USB ports such as on a keyboard or a USB hub which are not equipped
with their own power supply; the available current will not be sufficient.
• The LEDs indicate the status of the battery during charging.
Steady lit LEDs indicate the actual degree of charge (1 LED steady = battery is charged
25%, 2 LEDs = 50%, 3 LEDs = 75%, 4 LEDs = 100%), while flashing lights indicate the
remaining part of the battery that still has to be recharged.
Example: 3 LEDs are on, one LED is flashing: The battery has been charged up to at least
75%, and is charging the remaining 25%.
• The charging time depends on the charge status of the battery and can last for several
hours (for charging time of a fully discharged battery, see chapter “Technical data”).
• Once the integral rechargeable battery of the power bank is fully charged (all 4 LEDs are
on), disconnect the voltage/ current supply from the power bank.
The power bank is now ready for use.
The power bank’s rechargeable battery must be charged and discharged several times
before reaching its performance potential.
