. Intended use
The Multicharger VC-1506 is designed for private use in the model construction sphere.
The Multicharger VC-1506 is for charging batteries of the type NiCd or NiMH (1-15 cells), LiPo/LiIon/LiFe (1-6 cells)
as well as for lead acid cells (1-10 cells, 2V-20V). Depending on the batteries connected and their number of cells/
capacity, the charging current can be set between 0.1 A and 5.0 A. Batteries can also be discharged. The discharge
current can be 0.1-1.0 A. Up to five charging/discharging cycles can be set.
Four control keys and a two-line illuminated LC display are provided to operate the battery charger.
An integrated fan provides cooling for the battery charger during charging/discharging.
A balancer is integrated in the battery charger for LiPo/LiIon/LiFe batteries. On the side of the battery charger you
will find a combination plug for LiPo/LiIon/LiFe batteries with a differing number of cells.
The temperature sensor that comes with the unit can be connected to the battery charger to check the temperature
of the battery.
To monitor on a PC screen the curves indicating current, voltage, capacity and temperature, the unit includes a USB
port along with relevant software for connecting to a PC.
The battery charger is intended for operation on direct voltage of 11V= to 18V=. If required, however, an external
mains adapter can also be connected.
The product is intended for use in dry indoors, it must not get damp or wet!
