15. Disposal
a) General information
Dispose of the unserviceable product according to the relevant statutory
regulations!
b) Batteries and rechargeable batteries
The user is legally obliged (battery regulation) to return used batteries and rechargeable
batteries. Do not dispose of used batteries via domestic waste.
Batteries/storage batteries containing harmful substances are marked with the
following symbols indicating that they are not allowed to be disposed of in
domestic waste. The markings for hazardous heavy metals are:
Cd
=cadmium,
Hg
=mercury,
Pb
=lead (designation can be found on battery/rechargeable
battery under the trash icons on the bottom left).
You can return your exhausted batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge
to any authorized disposal station in your area, in our stores or in any other
store where batteries/rechargeable batteries are sold.
Thus, you comply with legal obligations and contribute to environmental protection.
16. Handling
• Protect the device from dampness, cold, heat, dust and direct strong sunlight.
• Never take the product apart. Have the unit repaired only by an experienced technician,
otherwise the product authorization and the guarantee will expire.
• Place the product such that it is out of the reach of children.
• If the product is not used for an extended period of time, remove the batteries from the
device.
