CAUTION!
Cargo areas have limited load capacity restrictions, which must be precisely follo -
wed otherwise loss of control, injury, and damage to your VOLTBIKE may occur.
5.6.1 WINTER STORAGE
Prior to prolonged winter storage, the battery must be fully charged
and must be fully charged every 30 days throughout the storage
period. Keep it at room temperature, at no less than 20°C (68°F).
5.6.2 VOLTBIKE STORAGE
Follow the steps outlined below when storing your VOLTBIKE for
long periods of time.
1. Prior to storage, make sure to remove the battery from your
VOLTBIKE . Avoid stacking anything on top of the bicycle.
The outer body of the bicy - cle is made of hard plastic, which
may crack under heavy loads.
2. Store your battery in a dry, warm place away from heat, mois-
ture, and fire.
3. Make sure to charge the battery after every use. Improper
storage will result in damage to your VOLTBIKE and
may shorten the life span of crucial components.
5.7 VOLTBIKE CLEANING
Your VOLTBIKE bicycle contains many electrical components. There-
fore, pressure washing your VOLTBIKE with water may cause damage
to your VOLTBIKE . A more delicate cleaning procedure of washing the
bicycle by hand is required in order to ensure that water doesn’t get
into unwanted areas. Before you start cleaning, make sure that the
key is removed from the ignition. Use a wet cloth to clean out and
remove any unwanted debris, such as dirt, dust, and grass. If you
notice any debris stuck in the chain drive, make sure to carefully
remove it.
