In particular situations, the chain and handle could reach high temperatures. It is recommended to
handle the chainsaw with care using protective gloves.
Wear protective gloves before carrying out operations on the chain.
Warning!
Before any maintenance or cleaning operations, remove the battery from the chainsaw. Accidental
starting can cause serious injury.
Frequent checks of the tool will make it safe and reliable.
• Keep the handle, any motor ventilation devices clean, use a cloth to clean the tool. Do not use
detergents to clean the tool to avoid damaging the surfaces.
• Clean the body of the chainsaw with a damp cloth.

emove the protective pinion cover.
• Clean the area around the pinion and
the body with a damp cloth.
• Remove the bar and
the chain as specified in paragraph 14.2
• Clean the oil outlet (1), oil inlet (2) and rear bar
slot (3) with a soft brush.

Clean the chain with a soft brush.

Assemble again the bar, the chain and the cover as specified in paragraph 14.3

Maintenance
General maintenance, cleaning, lubrication and the replacement of the chain and / or bar require
disassembly and assembly of the chainsaw.
