Seat belts
Each seat in your Volkswagen is equipped with a
seat belt. Occupants of the vehicle should wear
the belts at all times.
Shoulder belts should not be worn by persons less
than approximately 55 inch in height.
The front seats

shoulder belt that is completely adjustable to fit
different sized people and to allow for seat and
backrest adjustment. When not in use, the lap
section of the belt retracts and the belt should be
hung on the hook on the door post by means of the
hole in the buckle tongue. This prevents the belt
from lying about and getting dirty and permits easy
entrance and exit for the rear seat passengers.

seat and backrest positions, pull the belt buckle
