TROUBLESHOOTING
Any modification not authorized beforehand relieves the manufacturer of all responsibility. All the
spare parts used in repairs must be original ones and the accessories must be approved by the
manufacturer so as to be able to guarantee maximum safety of the machines and systems in which
they may be fitted.

THE MOTOR DOES NOT
START AND MAKES NO
NOISE.
•
No elettric power.
•
Check the contactor on the electric
line.
•
Plug not inserted.
•
Check power connection to the line.
•
Automatic switch has .
•
Reset the switch, check the cause.
•
Float blocked.
•
Check that the float reaches ON
level.
•
Thermal protection has tripped.
•
This resets automatically (Single-
phase only.)
•
Protection fuses are burnt out.
•
Replace the fuses with others of the
same type.
•
Faulty motor or capacitor.
• Contact the nearest dealer.
THE ELECTROPUMP DOES
NOT DELIVER.
•
The intake grid or the pipes are
blocked.
•
Remove the blockage.
•
The impeller is worn or blocked.
•
Change the impeller or remove the
blockage.
•
The required head is higher than the
electropump characteristics.
• Contact the nearest dealer.
•
No-return valve blocked.
•
Clean the valve and check its
operation.
THE ELECTROPUMP
WORKS AT A LOW FLOW
RATE.
•
Ensure that the intake grid or the
delivery pipe are not partly blocked
•
Remove any blockage.
•
Ensure that the impeller is not
partly blocked or encrusted.
•
Change the impeller or remove the
blockage.
•
Ensure that the check valve (i fitted)
is not partly clogged.
•
Clean the valve and check its
operation.
• Water level too low.
•
Switch off the electropump.
• Wrong supply voltage.
•
Feed the electropump with the
voltage indicated on the data plate.
•
On three-phase motors, check tha
the direction of rotation is correct.
•
If necessary, invert the
connection of two supply wires.
THE ELECTROPUMP
DOES NOT STOP.
THE ELECTROPUMP
STOPS AFTER RUNNING
FOR A SHORT TIME.
•
The switch is not disactivated by
the float.
•
Ensure that the float moves freely.
•
The thermal overload protection
device is stopping the electropump.
•
Check that the liquid to be pumped
is not too dense as this could cause
overheating of the motor.
•
Liquid temperature too high.
• The temperature exceeds the
technical limits of the electropump.
• Internal defect.
• Contact the nearest dealer.
