Note: On a Windows host with the VMware Management Interface installed, you can
find the installers for the console and scripting APIs in
C:\Program
Files\VMware\VMware Management
Interface\htdocs\vmware\bin
. This folder contains:

VMware-console-<xxxx>.exe
— the installer for the VMware Virtual
Machine Console to run on Windows clients.

VMware-console-<xxxx>.i386.rpm
— the RPM installer for the
VMware Virtual Machine Console to run on Linux clients.
•
VMware-console-<xxxx>.tar.gz
— the tar installer for the VMware
Virtual Machine Console to run on Linux clients.

VMware-VmCOMAPI-<xxxx>.exe
— the installer for the VmCOM API for
Windows hosts only.
•
VMware-VmPERLAPI-<xxxx>.exe
— the installer for the VmPerl API for
Windows hosts.
