7. Cleaning and care
7.2 Remove the filter
Warning - Risk of burning!
Let the product cool down completely before removing the filter!

For cleaning, the filter (3) can be removed from the kettle. Inside of the water kettle, press the upper
lock of the filter (3) and pull it out carefully (Fig. 3).

After cleaning, insert the filter (3) in the slot below the spout (2). Make sure the upper and lower
locks are in correct position and locked properly. (Fig. 4).

7.3 Descaling
Descale your product regularly depending on your water’s lime content and frequency of use.
•
Use an off-the-shelf decalcifier and follow the provided instructions.
•
As an alternative, you can descale your product with a vinegar solution:
- Pour 30 ml of white wine vinegar into the kettle and fill the kettle half-full with water.
- Boil the solution and let it soak for a minute. Repeat this process three times.
- Pour the solution down the drain and rinse the kettle thoroughly with water.
- Fill the kettle with fresh, clean water. Bring to a boil and pour this water down the drain. To get
rid of the smell of vinegar, repeat this step several times.

The filter can be soaked in a vinegar solution to descale it.
8. Disposal
Do not dispose of this product along with ordinary household waste. Dispose of this
product at a designated collection point for used electrical and electronic devices.
