5.1 Cleaning and care

Before cleaning the appliance, remove the plug (5) from the mains socket and allow
the appliance to cool down completely.

Do not use any abrasive cleaners or solvents. Also do not use any scratching or sharp
objects for cleaning.

The upper part of the appliance can be cleaned using a slightly damp cloth.
Afterwards dry thoroughly. Ensure that no liquids enter the appliance.

Keep the soleplate smooth, avoid hard contact with metal objects. Calcium and
other residue can be wiped off the soleplate with a damp cloth.
5.
Do not place the appliance under running water and do not immense in water or
other liquids.

To descale your appliance, use products made especially for descaling irons. Follow
the manufactures instruction carefully. You can get further Information in the
specific shop.
5.2 Trouble shooting
If the appliance does not function, check the following:
1. Is the appliance connected to the mains power supply?
2. Is the fuse of used mains socket burnt out?
Check the function of the mains socket with another appliance.
If no steams come out of the soleplate, check the following:
1. Is enough water in the water tank?
2. Is the temperature set too low?
Check if enough water is in the water tank and if the temperature is within the
position •• and •••.
Contact our customer service, if the appliance remains non-functional after checking the
above points. Do not try under any circumstances to repair the appliance yourself.
