CHOICE OF VERSION
FILTERING
Air is cleaned by passing through the active carbon filter, and then it is sent
back to the room through the openings at the upper part of the chimney
(figure 1).
ABSORPTION
Smokes and vapors from the kitchen are sent outside through the discharge
flues (stovepipes) placed inside the wall. Connect the discharge pipe on the
motor inside the chimney (figure 2).
When using the kitchen hood in absorption mode, together with an open
flame, the under-pressure in the room must not be more than Pa (4x10
-5
bar).
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
PERIODICALLY
Replace the filter inside the metallic panel when the red lines appear on the
lower side. If you use an acrylic filter, make sure it is washed at least every 2
months. Wash the cooker-hood with water and a wet, neutral detergent,
using a damp sponge. DO NOT use solvents or abrasives.
There is a fire risk if cleaning is not carried out according to the above
instructions.
METALLIC FILTER
The filters have to be washed in a dishwasher or by hand in warm water,
when the appliance is normally used. They have to be completely dry before
they are placed back into the appliance.
AIR RECYCLING
The cooker-hood has to be supplied with an activated carbon filter.
Every six months, replace the active carbon filters placed at both ends of the
motor inside the kitchen-hood. The filter is released by rotating it manually
(figure 4). When you will require a spare filter, quote in the code no. D211.
The carbon filter cannot be washed.
LIGHTING
The cooker-hood is supplied with incandescence lamps. For replacement,
simply open the panel and unscrew the lamp (figure 5).
