DANGER
Contact with live electrical voltage can cause serious injuries and result in a fatal
electric shock.
Contact with magnetic fields during charging may affect pacemakers.
Please adhere to the following points to avoid any exposure to danger:

Disconnect Ampi (device) before carrying out installation or maintenance work.
►
Disconnect Ampi (device) in case of thunderstorms or longer absence
►
Disconnect Ampi (device) in case of smoke or odour development or unusual noises
►
The socket-outlet shall be connected near Ampi (device) and shall be easily accessi-
ble, so that Ampi (device) can be disconnected quickly in an emergency. Ampi (de-
vice) is only voltage-free when disconnected from mains power.

Check for damage prior to starting up.
►
Do not operate with damaged Ampi (device). If Ampi (device) is damaged, it must be
replaced by Vitra Service or qualified electrical personnel.
►
The maximum grid capacities specific to each country must not be exceeded.
►
Children are not allowed to perform maintenance or repair work.
►
No liquid or water should be poured, splashed or sprayed into, onto or near plug
connections.
►
Do not place Ampi (device) next to an open fire.
►
Ampi (device) is intended for indoor use.
►
Conversions and modifications to your Ampi (device) are not permitted
►
Do not kink cables.
