Never use the power cable to pull,

carry or unplug the tool. Damaged

power cables increase the risk of

electric shock.

Keep the power cable and plug away

from heat sources, oil, sharp objects

and the rotating accessory. If the power

cable is damaged, it must be replaced

by a qualified technician; it is not

allowed to repair it.

Do not modify the power cable plug.

Use a compatible socket with the plug

of this equipment. Do not use any type

of adapter.

The use of extension cords to connect

the power cable is not recommended.

However, if you use an extension, you

should take some precautions, such as:

 If using this machine outdoors, use

only suitable extension cords for

outdoor use. Using a proper extension

cord reduces de risk of electric shock;

 Use only extension cords with 3

cables, plugs and sockets with earth

connection;

 The extension cable section must be

proportional to the length and have

equal or higher characteristics to this

tool’s power cord;

 Do not use damaged extension cords.

Check them before using and replace

if necessary;

 Always unplug the extension cord

before removing the equipment’s

power cable;

 When it’s an extension cord reel, unroll

the entire cable;

2.3  Before oPerating

Make sure that this tool is used only

by who is familiar with the instruction

manual.

To ensure a safe operation, you must:

 Check the entire equipment before

using it. Check that all accessories are

correctly assembled and attached to

the machine and in good conditions.

Never use damaged accessories;

 Check that all bolts are properly

tightened. A regular overhaul is

important to ensure safety and good

performance;

 After assembling the mixing paddle,

test the equipment in maximum speed

at no load for a few seconds. Verify

if there are any misalignments in the

moving parts or any condition that may

affect its normal operation. All moving

parts must spin softly without abnormal

noises or sparks in the brushes;

 Check if the safety devices are

in perfect conditions and working

correctly. Never use the machine if

any safety device is missing, inhibited,

damaged or worn;

 Ensure that the switch is off when you

plug in the power cable. If the switch is

damaged or does not allow controlling

the machine, it must be repaired or

replaced in a way to avoid a sudden

start;

 Remove any wrench or adjustment

tool before turning on the machine.

A wrench attached to the rotating

accessory may result in personal

injuries;

Perform all the needed adjustments

and in case of doubts ask your

distributor for assistance.

2.4 - WHile oPerating

Keep other people away from the

working area. Never use the tool if

animals or people, particularly children,

are nearby.

Keep the working area clean, organized

and well illuminated, in order to reduce

the risk of accidents.

Always wear personal protective

equipment. Wearing safety goggles,

safety masks, ear protection, non-slip

safety footwear, long sleeve clothing,

gloves and helmet under proper

conditions reduces the risk of injuries.

The clothing worn while operating the

tool must be appropriate and tight,

such as a work coverall. Do not wear

loose clothing or jewellery. Keep hair,

clothing and gloves away from the

moving parts.

To avoid accidents, you should also take

into account the following precautions

and procedures:

 When using the machine, place

yourself in a stable position and well

balanced. Hold the equipment firmly

with both hands to ensure a continuous

operation and to withstand unexpected

situations, such as a kickback;

 The kickback is a sudden reaction that

happens when the tool is switched on

and the rotating accessory gets stuck or

tightened. The kickback causes the tool

to be forced in the opposite direction of

the rotating accessory;

 The kickback happens due to misuse

or not suitable actions during operation.

To prevent a kickback, the following

precautions must be taken into account:

- Install and hold the rotating accessory

in the correct position and well

tightened;

- Do not position your body in the area

where the tool will be designed in the

event of kickback;

 Never place your hands near the

rotating accessory, once it may revert

over your hand. Keep hands away from

it;

 When the rotary accessory locks,

immediately turn the tool off. If you lose

control of the tool, unplug the power

cable;

 To avoid displacement or projection,

keep the container on a solid, fixed

base;
