Turn the shredder upside down.
Insert the axle (10), into the holes of the 2 supporting bars
(2).
Fix the bars to the shredder with 2 screws on each bar.
Line up the bar holes with the shredder holes. Place a
washer and a screw in each hole.
Fit the wheels (11) on the axle as shown below:
1. Insert a washer;
2. Insert the "axle sleeve";
3. Place the wheel;
4. Insert a washer;
5. Insert and tighten the nut;
6. Fit the wheel cap.
Proceed this way for both wheels.
The collection box (1) is fitted at the front of the shredder.
To fit the collection box, you must snap it into the rails and
push it in.
To remove the collection box, you must press the unlock
button and pull.
To start the shredder, press the "ON/OFF" switch (7) to
position
“ I ” .
To stop the shredder, press the switch to position “ 0 ” .
The shredder is equipped with an overload protection
switch (8), which, as the name indicates, is intended to
protect the shredder from overloads.
This overload protection switch must be pressed if the
shredder does not run.
The overload protection switch will trip in the following
circumstances:
1. An accumulation of shredded material around the
cutting disc and blades;
2. If the branches are larger than the motor's shredding
capacity;
3. If you insert an excessive quantity of branches.
Once the overload protection switch has tripped, proceed
as follows:
1. Switch off the shredder and unplug the power cord (9);
2. Loosen the blades cover retaining bolt (6) and lift the
cover;
3. Remove and clean any build-up material on the disc and
blades;
4. Lower the cover and tighten the bolt;
5. Let the motor cool down for a few minutes;
6. Plug in the power cord and press the push-button from
the overload protection switch (8);
7. Press the “ON/OFF" switch (7) to position (I) to start
grinding.
Never loosen the blade cover bolt without turning off
the shredder and unplugging the power cord.
