care
of
the
ceramic
filter
The photocatalytic filter is washable and made to last
forever. It’s important to apply some precautions to
have greater performance over time.
To maximize the
effects of the filter, we recommend washing every 6
months and replacement every 5 years.

Never handle the photocatalytic filter with bare
hands:
your hands, even if clean, are oily and this
inhibits the active sites of photocatalysis, lowering
the efficiency of the reaction. For this reason, we
recommend the use of gloves while washing it.
1. Remove the dust with a vacuum cleaner or by
using a compressor. The dust decreases the
photocatalytic efficiency because it obscures the
reactive sites for the chemical reaction.
2. Wash the photocatalytic filter under running water
to remove any residual dust accumulated in the
pores.
DO NOT use tools to scratch the surface
of the filter.
3. If the dirt is stubborn, immerse the filter in room
temperature water for 10-15 min.
