SAFETY MEASURES

Before  using  the  radio,  read  this 
instruction  manual  carefully  and 
keep it for future reference.
Use  the  unit  for  intended  purposes 
only, as specified in this manual. 
Mishandling  of  the  unit  may  lead 
to its breakage and cause harm to the 
user or damage to his/her property.

• 

Before connecting the radio to the 
mains  check  whether  your  home 
mains voltage corresponds to the 
voltage  specified  on  the  device 
housing.

• 

To avoid the risk of fire or electric 
shock,  do  not  expose  the  unit  to 
rain or moisture.

• 

Do  not  immerse  the  power  cord, 
the  power  plug  or  the  radio  itself 
into water or other liquids.

• 

To  prevent  fire  or  electric  shock 
hazard  do  not  place  and  do  not 
use  the  radio  in  places  with  high 
humidity  (near  bath  tubs,  kitchen 
sinks,  near  a  swimming  pool,  in 
wet basements, etc.) 

• 

Place the radio in such a way that 
you  can  immediately  pull  out  the 
plug  from  the  socket  in  case  of 
any malfunction.

• 

For protection of the radio during 
power  surges,  lightning  storms 
and  in  cases  when  you  are  not 
going  to  use  it  for  a  long  time, 
unplug the unit. 

• 

Never  pull  the  power  cord  when 
disconnecting  the  radio  from  the 
mains,  take  the  power  plug  and 
carefully remove it from the mains 
socket.

• 

When the radio is battery powered 
and you are not using it for a long 
time,  remove  the  batteries  from 
the battery compartment.

• 

For children safety reasons do not 
leave polyethylene bags, used as 
packaging, unattended.

Do  not  allow  children  to 

play with polyethylene bags or pack-
aging film. 

Danger of suffocation!

• 

Do  not  allow  children  to  touch 
the  power  cord  during  the  unit 
operation.

• 

Do not leave children unattended 
to prevent using the unit as a toy.
